"The Tin Shack" is a beautiful container built cabin situated on a hill behind the West Coast fishing village of St Helena Bay. The cabin overlooks the village below and the entire bay with the majestic Cederberg mountains in the distance. It has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a spacious living area. The kitchen is equipped with a standard fridge/freezer, four-plate gas hob, microwave, and all kitchen essentials. The spacious deck has a BBQ, outdoor seating, and a woodfired hot tub.

The host will meet guests at the cabin on arrival.

Our neighbourhood is a group of smallholdings on the hill behind St Helena Bay. There is great concern among residents for nature and most are trying to do their bit to contribute positively to our natural environment. We request that guests value and respect this sentiment. The village and nearby beaches are within 5 to 15 km from the cabin. The hill is quite steep and walking to the village is not recommended. Walking and cycling for leisure, on the other hand, is a nice activity to undertake on the hill. St Helena Bay has a SPAR, OK, petrol station, restaurants and pubs. Our nearest town, Vredenburg, is 28km away where you will find the West Coast Mall and most other shops you might be looking for.
