This is a unique space. It is the private home of a South African artist and educator and her two resident cats, Freddy and Cupid. This will be an authentic experience of living on the peninsular of Africa. The swimming beach of Fish Hoek, known for its relatively warm seas, has shark nets and lifeguards and is a 10 minute walk from the front door. The Peninsular Ramblers hiking club has many hikes into the surrounding mountains. One can join as a guest. For those who are wild at heart.

I am an artist, school teacher and lover of wild things, mainly my two resident cats! We live in this house year round, and when I have guests, I leave my two fur babies in the house for the guests to enjoy and go to Cape Town. I will be available via cell phone and email but not available in person unless in the event of an emergency.

Fish Hoek is a small town on the Cape Peninsula; locals call it The Deep South. My cats love hunting on the wild mountainside. There is so much to do in and around this area from swimming in the sea or the many tidal pools surrounding the area, to hiking in the surrounding mountains, to enjoying a cup of coffee at Collaborate, catching some live music at The Cottage Club, or getting Fish and Chips at the local fishmonger. It is a stones throw from Clovelly, Kalk Bay, Simonstown, Boulders, Noordhoek, Kommetjie and Glencairn. The best way to get around Fish Hoek and Kalk Bay is simply to walk! People park on the road outside. There is a train that runs, but it is advisable to use Uber or Bolt or a hire car to get around.
