Both cottages are located on a 2-ha private setting in Kampersrus, suburb of Hoedspruit and provide modern and comfortable 'beds in the bush'. Ukuthula is a Zulu word and means: ...where your soul can rest. We are loadshedding free and offer reliable WIFI. It is a peaceful place where bushbucks and other small antelope wander by, as well as a host of small inhabitants. The modernly furnished and tastefully decorated cottages has each 65 m2, are semi detached and each private. Each cottage has a separate bedroom with air-conditioning and mosquito net, a generous open plan lounge and dining area with a mobile kitchen island and a workspace. Each bathroom has a shower and a bathtub, a separate toilet and a walk-in storage. Clever design ensures climate control and well-ventilated living space. The view from both cottages is dominated by the awesome mountain peaks and into the lowveld and Kruger National Park. The cottages are self-catering and well-equipped with basics such as olive and sunflower oil, vinegar, spices, filter coffee as well as nescafe, roiboos and black tea, biscuits, milk and sugar. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas stove, microwave oven, water kettle, toaster and basic cleaning material and a ceiling fan. Kampersrus is 26 km outside of Hoedspruit and 36 km away from the nearest airport Hoedspruit. The village is nestled at the foot of the southern Drakensberg Mountain range, Mariepskop dominates. At the entrance to Kampersrus are shops, a fuel station and restaurants. There are approximately 500 bird species found here and the area is home to all 5 indigenous primates, which includes the Samango monkeys. Moholoholo animal rehabilitation centre is 1 km away. We are in short radius of many attractions such as the Blyde River Canyon (third deepest in the world), the famous Panorama Tour with its attraction God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and Lisbon Falls. The Blyde dam and hiking trails are approximately 6 km away.

We, Bill, a South African and Hanny, a German have found our paradise here on our spot in Kampersrus, where we enjoy our retirement and love to host guests from all over the world. We love cooking and eating, nature and the park. But we most love the peace and tranquility of our environment, and we love to share with others.
