Verona Cottage is situated in a safe and quiet cul-de-sac, with a private entrance and secure off-street parking for a small vehicle. The sunny self-catering cottage is separate from the main house and has a small private garden planted with hibiscus and bougainvillea and lovely mountain views. The cottage is not serviced for stays up to 6 days. For 7 or more days, the cottage is serviced weekly, with linen and towels changed. Long stay rates available on request. Check-in: 15:00-18:00, outside of these times by prior arrangement.
We have been involved in hospitality for many years, owning Verona Lodge B&B in Green Point for 14yrs and then in Kleinmond, before settling happily in Muizenberg, close to Cape Town again. We are more than happy to offer advice and give recommendations on things to do in and around Cape Town and the Western Cape.
From the cottage, it is an easy 10min walk to the beach and seaside village of Muizenberg, with it's popular and vibrant Surfers Corner and many restaurants and coffee shops. Enjoy a 40min walk to St James tidal pool, or a 1hr stroll to the popular fishing village of Kalk Bay. It is a 30min drive to the city centre of Cape Town by car, or 1hr in the city's new blue people's train. The train station is a 15min walk away.
