When you are ready to venture beyond your peaceful and relaxing immediate surroundings, Gordons Bay offers two pleasure boat harbours in the neighbourhood and companies that cater to fishing and numerous sea adventures as well as daily excursions to Simons Town and Kalk Bay which are situated across False Bay. There are restaurants and shops and convenience stores as well as a Blue Flag Beach called Bikini Beach which is tucked away against the Gordons Bay old harbour wall which shelters this fantastic beach from the southerly winds. There is also a beautiful large white sandy beach centrally situated in Gordons Bay called Main Beach which makes one feel you are in the French Riviera. There are many other beautiful beaches in the Strand, which is a “stone’s throw” away from Gordons Bay. Fresh fish can be bought at various places along the coastline from the fishermen who return with their catch. We have Golf Courses in and surrounding Gordons Bay as well as many famous and well known courses near the various wine farms.
