These two houses W108 and W111 where designed according to the Walkersons Estate Design Manual, which required the houses in the Walkersons Pastures Village to resemble a traditional Transvaal Highveld Farm Homestead. They where among the earliest completed houses on the estate. The farmhouse ambiance has been admirable achieved by using conventional materials and building methods, without sacrificing basic comforts. We have had many many guests give us high ratings for value, cleanliness and location in the secure Private Estate. The two houses are within walking distance of Piscatory and Half moon dam filled with trophy brown and rainbow trout. Please note that we now offer DSTV decoder with full bouquet free of charge.
Our company is family owned, and we also make use of our houses to host friends and family when not used by our rental guests. Elresa our daughter is responsible for the day to day running of Trout and Nature Haven and is on call for all our guests to assist. We as a family do not live on site so the guests are provided with entry details for the estate security and are able to perform self check in 24/7 with keys available at the house in a numbered safe.
Walkersons private estate is very secure and is home to the famous 5 star Walkersons Hotel, where our guests can book for meals and enjoy refreshments on the hotel Terrace. The estate has 13 dams stocked with trophy brown and rainbow trout, which are available to our guests, subject to published fishing rules. Fishing permits are available for purchase on Walkersons Private Estate's website. Cycling, Jogging, Walking and Bird watching are enjoyed on the estate roads and paths. Dullstroom village with its wide choice of restaurants is only 15min away, so going out for a meal is easy. Come and Enjoy
