[OFF THE GRID] Wellstead in Champagne Valley is a self-catering home set on 50 acres in the Champagne Valley area of the Drakensberg, it is 25Km from Winterton and surrounded by some of the highest and most beautiful mountain scenery in South Africa. Damage Protection This listing is protected by LekkerGuest, our guest verification and damage protection partner. After the booking is confirmed, guests will receive a link to complete a quick verification and must choose either of the following options: 1.⁠ ⁠A R5,000 refundable security deposit hold (R47 service fee); OR 2.⁠ ⁠A R600 non-refundable damage waiver that provides R7,500 worth of accidental damage cover. Completing it early helps ensure a seamless check-in experience. NOTE: No smoking allowed inside; and no hubbly bubbly allowed at any time. While it is not encouraged and not an ongoing occurrence, please note that the owner's friendly dogs may come say 'Hi'. We require all outstanding processes to be completed before 12 pm the day prior to check-in. Failure to do so will result in a late penalty fee of R350 In case of a late check-in after 7pm on Saturdays to Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays, a standard late check-in fee of R750 will apply. CLEANING: Cleaning is included on every 2nd/3rd day for each 4 nights booked (excl. Public Holidays and Sundays). Additional cleaning is R350 per day and must be requested 48 hrs in advance (subject to availability). Sundays and Public Holidays are double the rate (R700 per day). LOADSHEDDING: This property is off the grid and uses solar power. Guests are therefore advised to use the power responsibly during their stay.
