The IBIS Port de plaisance is located in the centre of Caen, just 750 metres from the Château de Caen and 350 metres from the Church of Saint-Pierre. Fabulous location with restaurants all around and the Port de Plaissance outdoor bars and snack bars (aka food trucks). It’s a hive of activity but rooms very quiet. The staff were really helpful and considerate. We had a nice conversation at times. We intended to stay for one night . Because of evening meals and good nature of staff , we stayed three nights. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
