We absolutely loved our two night stay at the Hare and Hounds. It is in our opinion like an old world coaching Inn. Nooks and crannies, the odd low headroom doorway etc. Friendly staff and enjoyed the food, breakfast was lovely. We really liked the fact that while dining there were no TVs on in the background. How many places are there now with TVs on while you are eating, absolutely stifling the art of conversation.

Our room was beautiful, bed was very comfortable...pillows too! Enjoyed a lovely meal at your restaurant It poured with rain on our second day, so we stayed in by the fire, the staff and other visitors made it a fun afternoon even though we stayed inside

Fabulous place,lovely room with huge very comfortable bed, tea & coffee tray, very good powerful shower. Excellent food in the restaurant , friendly staff,absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Stunning room and bathroom. and great location not too far off the main route. Breakfast and dinner were both great too and staff were accomodating of us altering a kids meal to suit our little boy. They also kindly got us some milk for him at bedtime free of charge.
