We couldn’t stay for breakfast we had to leave very early. Our room was delightful. A huge comfortable bed, big fluffy bath towels, lots of coffee, tea bag options and biscuits. Dog treats waiting. We sense a generous spirit about the place. Parking is off road within an area next to the ground floor rooms and easily accessible. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Originally built as a private house dating back to 1673, this old worlde property is full of character and charm, and provides free Wi-Fi and traditional home-cooked food.

Excellent breakfast, great bar, and most importantly: very friendly and helpful staff. Food is homemade, I can only recommend the Bircher Müsli for breakfast. Wonderful stay at the Fisherman's Haunt - formerly part of a chain of Pubs, now in very capable new hands. The new owners transformed a probably rather generic pub into an absolute gem. Thank you!

The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The self-serve breakfast was well-stocked, even with a vegan option. The staff were fantastic, both with us and our dog. The restaurant and pub offered everything you could want from a local pub like the True Lovers Knot. The outdoor garden and parking completed the wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
