The room was compact but had all we needed. The staff were super friendly and gave us great dinner recommendations. The breakfast was excellent and it was handy having a bar where we could wind down with a drink. Location perfect for Historic Naval Yards and there is a bus stop right next door if the walk is too much .

A very pleasurable stay with exceptionally helpful staff in a very well run establishment. Parking is simple and on-site, and the check-in process is very simple. The room was very well appointed and clean, with ample space for our whole family. The breakfast provided was of excellent quality. The bar and restaurant has a delicious drinks and food menu with many daily specials, with excellent cocktails and dinner options for the whole family. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. A wonderful stay that was enjoyed by all. Thank you!

Staff were excellent on arrival and throughout the stay. Food was really good quality. Location is great for scenic walks and visiting Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Parking at the rear is free overnight 6pm-8am, then a charge applies.

Everything! Lovely rooms. Charming top restored old house. Nice pub with nice "beergarden". And very friendly stuff and amazing breakfast. My absolute recommendation: the homemade porridge.👌🏼
