I always stay at this lovely pub, when I am arriving late with the ferry at Harwich. Cosy atmosphere, fab hosts, confi rooms and beds, I never had any problems finding a parking spot either in front of the pub or opposite on the street. Perfect place!

Lovely staff in a characterful inn, pub, restaurant near the water. I booked the small room that came with a warning so was prepared. The bathroom was spacious for the size of the room, and it was clean enough for this germaphobe. There's a small fridge in the common area with additional water and coffee supplies. I had a night ferry to the next day, and they kindly held my luggage all day while I went out exploring. Highly recommend!
