Everything! The location was ideal and within walking distance of everything, with a car park just across the road. We loved the pub downstairs, especially the dog menu! The atmosphere was great and loved that you could bring your own fish and chips in. We definitely appreciated the snacks in the room too! Room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view. Can't wait to return at some point!

The location was perfect with car parking right across the street. We had the executive king room with views over the town. Everything we needed was provided. The room was very clean and comfortable. Even though we were above a bar with live music, we didn’t hear a thing.

What lovely friendly staff. Lovely lady that served us breakfast on Monday morning, nothing was a problem for her. Comfortable beds, huge room looking over estuary in bay window, big bathroom, tea, coffee, oat milk sachets, fridge on landing with real milk and water. Lovely good make of biscuits ( yummy) My sister had a room on second floor, wasn't as big but ample and everything was spotless. Good place for all of Whitby. We loved it. It's an old pub with character. Hope we can return again sometime.🙂

This Inn had such a nostalgic feeling to it that I have been craving but has been hard to find as everyone these days seems to renovate things to tasteless modern standards. Elements from all the decades of life of this place are lovingly preserved. I also LOVED how much this place seems to be plugged into the local community, lots of folks in the pub, locals working the restaurant and chatting. I adored it. A very authentic experience. Ample and roomy parking. Dinner was so lovely I was thrilled I was able to order mushrooms on toast! The room and bathroom was nice and big too. My favourite place I stayed this week!
