Inns in Pai

Rainbow house is probably the best place I've stayed in Northern Thailand, absolutely great! A family owned business run by the kindest people! Excellent place for both longterm and short term stay. Went for a week and spent 1 1/2 month. Very good location, walking distance from food market etc but at the same time quiet and cozy. There is a small beautiful pond with fish and plenty of nice spots around the property to hang around and either chill or socialize. The owners are very discrit but helpful at the same time, always there for you and your needs. I'm not the type of person that stays in ' shared bathroom ' places but in Rainbow House I never ever had any difficulties coping with it. The facilities were always clean and more than enough for the amount of persons staying there. Coming to accomodation, Pai in general is a bit of a difficult place. Prices are high for what you get. Almost all the places have problems with hot water ( makes total sense, water comes straight from the mounstains so it's really cold and the small heaters that use in the guesthousei don't have enough time to heat it up), noise from the bars around Pai and maybe cold in the night. People that come at this part of Thailand need to have this things in their mind and don't expect miracles. Taken under consideration these factors plus the price of a room in Rainbow House plus the super kind owners I strongly believe that this place, Rainbow House is by far one of the best places one can stay in Pai. Very clean and perfect location and friendly staff. Near of down town and walking street.

Was nice to lay on a hammock and watch the sky turn to red. Good atmosphere, location and beds were comfy. Perfect set to experience Pai. Also staff were very friendly, helping you when you had challenges. I recommend this place.
