The units feature a wardrobe. The family Grampelhuber were wonderful hosts. Mom, Dad, two sons, two daughter (in law), and two grandchildren, along with a fine and attentive staff. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was outstanding. Music filled the house. We will long look on our Austrian visit to Bad Goisern and Steegwirt fondly.

But keep in mind that the toilet and shower room are separated and outside the bedroom, both are also clean but there is no shampoo. Breakfast is simple but full of options like bread, yogurt. We recommend to enjoy your breakfast at the outside of hotel which has a stunning view of lake.

This historic 15th-century building is located in the car-free city centre, just 100 metres from Hallstatt’s market square. Perfect location, accommodation with a “soul” (700 year old house), pleasant and helpful staff, nice breakfast, beautiful view from the balcony.
