King size apartment-had a separate room with a lounge, desk, tv and aircon. Main bedroom had table, chairs, tv and another aircon. Bed & pillows were fantastic and a basic breakfast provided. Kitchenette was good. Checkin was easy and recommended local pub for dinner.

We choose the Settlement Historic Hotel because it allowed dogs to stay, which was a huge bonus. The room was small but clean and comfortable. Our room was on the corner adjacent to the pool and the main road. It was a super quiet night so we could hear the traffic light beeping sound, but thankfully not much other noise. The location is excellent. We walked into the main hub for wharf activities, pubs, dinner and drinks. Shower/bathroom is a little dated, but it does the job. The heater was excellent, as was the electric blanket!

It was worth staying for the food, really fantastic dinner after a long day of driving. It was a good stop on the way to Melbourne as we didn’t have to get too far from the highway, but the bistro was amazing.

We’ve stayed before but was a few years ago. They allow you to bring your pets, which is great, with a grass area opposite rooms for them to run and play. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast provisions were also great. They are opposite a tavern for evening meals (but it closes early so don’t hope for a late dinner). Rooms look like they’ve been recently renovated too, which was a nice surprise.

the room was clean. beds we’re comfy and great fluffy towels. also we could have dinner at the tavern and included complimentary breakfast. staff were very friendly including the house staff.
