It's rare for us to get such a good experience from hosts! Otherwise, the location was perfect for us, and having a parking spot nearby really helped us when we were arriving late at night from the Summerside Festival in a nearby town. The apartment itself was large and comfortable, and it was great to have a balcony we could relax at the end of a long day.

Some of the rooms offer a view of the Jungfrau, Breithorn and Ebnefluh mountains, which are over 4,000 m high. I loved the breakfast. I also loved how welcoming the staff was. The hot chocolate was so comforting paired with the view that faces the awesome part of the valley. the room we had was very clean and after a day of activities, it was all we needed. Using the key took some time figuring out, but it was also a novel experience to use a lock and key from several years in the past. We got our own little balcony that we used to cool our drinks that's ice cold and sit down to just look again at the awe inspiring view. Checkout was a breeze~ just leave the keys and all. Would recommend it 100%

The Alpenblick hotel is a family business, situated about 600 metres from the centre of Grindelwald, right at the ski slope and a bus stop, and offers nice rooms and tasty food.

In the restaurant and on the sunny terrace guests can select from fresh hot sandwiches, steaks, salads and desserts. Cheese fondue is available as well. Everything in this hotel is excellent!

Guests can enjoy panoramic lake and mountain views from the terrace and benefit from free WiFi access in the entire hotel. The best part was the cutest couple who run then BnB. They were very warm and hospitable. I would love to come back to Iseltwald just to visit the property again and meet them :)
