We stayed at Walida Hotel for 3 nights and had an absolutely lovely experience. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking view of the mountains, including a glimpse of the famous Harder Kulm. One of the best parts was the walking distance to Lake Brienz—such a serene and beautiful spot to enjoy any time of day. The location is also conveniently close to a bus stop, which made getting around easy. Although we couldn’t find a place in Interlaken Ost as originally planned, we’re glad we stayed in Bönigen instead—it was quieter and more charming, and Walinda Hotel was truly a gem in the area. Since we had to leave early each day, the hotel went the extra mile and prepared lunch boxes for us, which included sandwiches, fruits, and juices—an incredibly thoughtful and helpful gesture. The room cleaning service was also attentive and efficient, which added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, the stay was well worth the price, and we would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Interlaken/ Lauthrebrunn/ Grindelwald/Brienz area!

This hotel is situated 200 metres from Lake Thun and close to the Beatus Caves. I loved the service provided by the owner. I had booking to go to Top of Europe early morning at 730 am and breakfast was provided at 8 am. I notified the staff same and he managed to give me breakfast day before at 9 pm which was very touchy and won my heart as if they cared about us as their own. Very scenic view from window.

Some of the rooms are a little dated, but I think it adds to the charm. We stayed here over Christmas and it was decorated like a hallmark movie. Thanks for an amazing stay.
