At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a wardrobe and a patio with a garden view. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, rooms at Hosteria Orkidea Lodge also feature a mountain view. At the accommodation rooms have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. This is a beautiful place to stay. Even though it is a bit remote, it still has many comforts. It had a beautiful pool on extensive grounds that are well maintained. The staff was very attentive whenever we needed something. We just ate there, since it was quite a drive to get to other options, and the food was good. There's a large number of cool Oropendola birds that hang out there, making an unearthly wake up call at sunrise, which I found quite pleasant. It took us a little extra effort to find because Google Maps doesn't show the dirt road that must be traveled to get there, so we had to do a little more exploration to find it. There's a sign on the main road which shows the dirt road turnoff. Eventually you reach a very small wooden bridge leading to a pair of concrete tracks into the jungle, so the road is minimal on the final approach to the resort.
