We stayed at Locando al Convento our first and last nights in Venice for a much more reasonable price than our expensive hotel in the center of Venice. What a surprise and a delight to find such a lovely inn in the countryside set amidst vineyards and greenery. Best of all was the host Dario. He was very responsive and helpful in the correspondence before our visit and while we were there. Our room was clean and comfortable with good beds. We had a triple and it was spacious. The light breakfast was perfect with coffee, tea, yogurt and delicious homemade cakes. My husband, a chef, was so impressed he asked for the recipes. The walk to the bus into Venice was a bit of a trek with luggage (about 15 minutes) but it was so pretty walking through the verdant countryside that we didn't mind at all. The bus trip was about 30 minutes and convenient. My son ate one night at the restaurant and said the food was delicious. Thank you Dario for a lovely stay. Highly recommend!

All units include a wardrobe. The place is absolutely clean and nice. Bed was great even though I request double bed but got twin instead. Location is nice on the hill not the top but great! Staff are nice. Breakfast was ok just typical italian. I would recommend to stay here!
