The room was very good. The size of the room was good, nice beds, a sofa, TV with Netflix, spacious toilet and shower.

Restmance Pension Woody Hill bevindt zich in Iiyama, op 25 km van skigebied Ryuoo Ski Park en 30 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park. This was one of the best stays in any pension house I had all over Japan. The hosts really made it feel like home. The owner took us to onsen every evening and we shared dinner/drinks in the evening as well. Recently renovated and everything was really nice. Parking spots were available and it was a short walk up to the ski resort. If you were not going to ski during the day, you can work with ample space in the lodge to set up.

Villa Kubota is gelegen op 31 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park en 40 km van Suzaka Zoo, en heeft kamers in Nozawa Onsen. I loved this place, warm and attractive inside, and the owners were lovely. Very kind and sweet. Highly recommend. Great dinners too.

Koguma no ie is gelegen in Nozawa Onsen, op 32 km van Jigokudani Monkey Park en 41 km van Suzaka Zoo. Had a delightful 2-night stay at Koguma no ie during a Nozawa ski trip. The location could not be better. Strap on your skis at the front door and you're a 30-second cruise to the chairlift. It is a short and easy walk to the center of town. Our room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. The owners were incredibly kind and prepared a great breakfast every morning. The bath at the end of a cold day was a very special treat! Adorable spot at a great value. Will be back!

Hakuba Hospitality Inn YUKINOSO is gelegen in Hakuba, op 7,9 km van skigebied Tsugaike Kogen, en biedt conciërgediensten, rookvrije kamers, een gedeelde lounge, gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie en... I decided on a spontaneous hiking trip this summer and came all the way from Shanghai to Hakuba. Since I booked just four days in advance, I sadly missed out on a single room – but I want to say, even as a solo female traveler, the 4-person dorm was incredibly comfortable! There was plenty of personal space – enough to fit all my skincare, makeup, books, electronics, and clothes. Though there’s no air conditioning, the owner kindly brought me a cooler, which worked just fine. The other girls in the dorm were very quiet and respectful, and we all kept the room neat. The shared bathrooms and public bath were sparkling clean, and there's a free onsen in the facility! You can also walk just 5 minutes to the nearby Happo Onsen if you'd like a change of scenery. The location is unbeatable – just a 3-minute walk from the station and super close to Lawson for snacks and daily needs. In the lounge, you can enjoy free milk, cereals, and bread from evening until morning. The common area was exactly how I imagined a cozy Japanese drama scene – I took so many cute photos there! The service was also amazing. There’s no elevator, but the owner and one of the lovely staff girls kindly carried my luggage upstairs for me. Thank you for taking such good care of me these few days. This was my very first solo trip at 19, and both Hakuba and Yukinoso will always have a special place in my heart.
