Simply perfect. Away from town crowds/traffic/ noise - yet close enough to walk for dinner. Adequate onsite parking. Entire facility was spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Room was quiet. Staff was friendly. Would stay here again. Highly recommend.

A wonderful place in the peace of nature and the wonderful little barrel cabin was a wonderful experience. Even though the cabin was really small, there was everything you needed. We even cooked a three-course dinner and ate it in the yard under the shelter of a pergola, which had a wonderful atmosphere. In the morning it was wonderful to drink morning coffee on the terrace of my own cottage and look at the pond and the mountains. The hostess was really hospitable and wonderful in every way.

The location was excellent. Not far from the main centre. Had breakfast and dinner there one time each. Food was excellent. We hired paddle boards for a couple of hours (2nd hour was free) and explored the lake. Nice room to relax in during the hottest part of the day!

Carman house is in a fantastic location slightly away from the shops and bustle of Bled, but very easily walkable. It’s just that bit quieter and more peaceful. The attic room overlooked the lake and had the most perfect views even from the velux windows, and the decor is rustic and comfortable. The young woman on the front desk was absolutely delightful and so helpful, a credit to the hotel.

The room was a great size. The bed was comfortable, there was a table, fridge, dinnerware and plenty of clothes storage. Located within close walking distance of both the lake and supermarkets.

Lovely guest house. The lady who runs this is very hospitable and friendly. She speaks mainly German but was able to communicate with us in English. Lovely lady. The accommodation was very clean. We were given welcome drinks and some snacks and had access to a small kitchen area. Beautiful location. Car parking also available and drying area for laundry.
