We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.

We were here in early Jan 2024 and this is an excellent hotel!! (sorry for the late review as we just got back from our travels) Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent room and facilities, and so close to groceries, the train station and bus stop. Especially grateful to Medaline (really sorry if I got the spelling wrong). You are so friendly and informative when we checked in and even helped me bring up 2 large heavy luggages to our room. No staff in any other hotel would have offered and actually helped. Thank you so much!! We decided to stay in Wilderswil instead of Interlaken, when we booked back in late July 2023, as it was only for 3 nights and nearer to the mountains where we would be spending most of our time. Best decision we made was staying here in Edelweiss Lodge and away from the main city (regretting now not having booked a longer stay here). The scenery from our room's balcony was fantastic and the room spacious in spite of the size of the hotel from the outside. Breakfast was exceptional (wifey really enjoyed every one of them :-) )!!! Will definitely stay here again!!!

The property offered me everything that I was looking for as a solo female traveller: safety, cleanliness, good food options and OUTSTANDING location and landscape. I targeted for a place very high on the mountain plateau from where to see the instagrammable view of the valley. I chose a single room panorama view Jungfrau and it was the best choice. Price was good for that room, but room was very small, practical for sleeping in, wooden type of room, very clean. But let’s be honest, we are coming there for going outside more than staying in the room, for this reason the room was fine for me. If you look for a big room, glamorous, than this is not the place. Food was good and breakfast was enough to satisfy my needs. People were also very nice and welcoming. I am reading reviews and I am surprised to read about “ bossy attitude “- it’s just cultural specifics , we should all understand we are different from country to country. For me all the people there were super nice and supportive. I am considering coming back there during winter. Mu stay was in August 2024. Thank you for making me feel welcome there!

I didn't see the message regarding check in but luckily the host arrived as we did to give me the keys. We were there before check in but able to leave luggage in the room and change before going out again. Drinks provided, bottle of prosecco which was nice! Jacuzzi bath in the room was amazing, used it every night. 5 minute walk from Interlaken West but in a very quiet area.
