Beautifully located and very nice and quiet rooms. The staff were all so nice, told us everything about the area and how to get there and made us a delicious breakfast every morning. Even when we had to leave early ti catch the train they had a take away breakfast ready for us. Totally recommend!

very modern and clean room with great toilet facilities. hotel provides a washing machine and drying area. the hotel staff at the counter were also extremely helpful in helping us plan our zhangjiajie itinerary. definitely great value for money and 100% recommend staying here.

The staff were very accommodating, helping us with all kinds of things: providing vegetarian food, helping buy tickets to and dropping us off at the gate of the natural park, helping us plan the trip. My stay at Guan Yun Shan Ju was an absolutely unforgettable experience. Tucked away in the serene mountains, this lodge truly lives up to its name "Cloud-Gazing." Waking up to a sea of clouds right outside our window was nothing short of magical. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful blend of modern comfort and traditional charm. The wooden beams and soft lighting created a very cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the staff was exceptional; they were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was another highlight! We enjoyed delicious, locally-sourced meals that were both fresh and flavorful. Sitting on the terrace, sipping tea, and watching the clouds roll by was the perfect way to unwind. It's an ideal retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the city's hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. I cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning.

First and foremost, the location is absolutely perfect. It strikes a brilliant balance between easy access to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and offering a peaceful, comfortable retreat after a day of hiking. The views of the quartz-sandstone peaks from the hotel are simply breathtaking. The service was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and provided great advice for planning our daily excursions. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and very thoughtfully designed. It was so relaxing to come back to such a comfortable and stylish space. We also have to compliment the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both Chinese and Western options, giving us a perfect start to each day. The dinners we had were delicious and used high-quality ingredients. Merlot Crystal is more than just a place to sleep; it's an essential part of the magical Zhangjiajie experience. We left feeling rejuvenated and with wonderful memories. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
