The hotel was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and was also in close proximity to a local town. There were so many options of things to do and places to eat that there was something to cater for everyone.

The guest space was wonderful, just what one would like to have in the Finnish countryside. The bed was perfect for our taste, and I slept great (which is the highest praise I can give a location). We also ordered breakfast from our lovely hosts, and it was amazing. From what we understood the place is still in development, but it was a wonderful feeling to get to experience a place that so fully embodies someones idea of the perfect woodsy paradise. Hope to visit one day again!

Absolutely gorgeous spot, surrounded by forest and right on the lake. You have your own wood burning sauna (with a view) and exclusive use of a rowing boat. Around the cottage we found plenty of bilberries (European blueberries) we could pick, plus there were cute rabbits to feed and sheep. There’s a lovely nature trail around the woods and a small play area for younger children. There’s a fire pit and gas BBQ on the terrace. The cottage has everything you could need- washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, plenty of TVs and a projector screen with dvd player. There are loads of dvds available but if you don’t speak Finnish you might need to take them out to work out what the film is. The beds were really comfortable, we hired bedding and towels and they were super cute moomin ones :-) Antti is really helpful and very responsive to messages.
