Beautiful home, impeccably clean. Charline, the host, is incredibly warm and helpful (but also incredibly respectful of your privacy). There’s clearly a lot of attention to detail - everything has been thought of even down to a lighter and charcoal for the (very good Weber) barbecue. Great location. We did an absolutely stunning walk amongst the vines the one evening we stayed. And the hot tub was especially loved by our young boys. We must come back again in future and stay longer.

The Hotel Le Richebourg is situated in the Cotes de Nuits in Burgundy. From the village of Vosne Romanée, some room at this hotel have views of the vineyards.

A tranquil place, in Pommard and very close to Beaune. Pommard itself is nice to walk around and has a couple of cafes. People cycle in the area and I think the property has bikes to use. The evening meal was very impressive and easily to a michelin recommended level. The property and food may seem a little higher than average but the quality is excellent so it is actually reasonably priced. I think the Beaune area is general a little more pricey. I was able to park my Boxster securely at the property and under cover. The pool is warm. The whole property is like new with a high quality finish. Mersault is also a village to visit nearby. It was my first visit to the area and I wanted to stay somewhere with onsite parking, clean and comfy. I would use this place again and also a great stop over for travelling down through France. Indoor dining is at a single large table as the place has only a few rooms and so I got talking to the other guests, which worked too.
