Quirky property, fun to explore with excellent facilities and a lovely charm of Old England. Great hot tub & cinema room. Excellent location, close to shops, cafes and restaurants in Saffron Walden. Each evening there was space to park our cars outside.

Just amazing, stunning place to stay. A large group of us went to the area for a concert and found this place for us all to stay. We had a wonderful time and this place is perfect for a group to get together.

The decor was stunning, Location was quiet and private, lovely and clean, very comfortable and Damien was so helpful, accommodating and quick with responses to any questions we had. I'm very glad we followed his recommendation to eat at the red lion...food was incredible! The property is very romantic for couples and also spacious outside for children. I loved it there so much, that we decided to stay an extra night. So relaxing and peaceful.
