The house is stunning, the host was great. It's in a lovely secluded location but not too far from the local pub which is a friendly spot with lovely food on offer. Would be amazing in the warmer months and we will be looking forward to rebooking next year at a warmer time with family.

Absolutely excellent little cottage. We arrived in the dark, so was nice surprise to look out of the window the next day to such a lovely view. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean. Just a little bit out from the city centre but ok if you have a car. Lovely peaceful setting with hot tub included.

Everything was pure luxury, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on, the decor and extra little touches made it even more special. The views from the hot tub were amazing !

It was a very pleasant stay for our family. It was well located for activities in different parts of Yorkshire. The host was very kind and the breakfast was good. The swimmingpool was enjoyable for both children and adults.

You could see for miles, and walk straight from the property. The host had added so many lovely touches, with snacks, fresh milk, hot chocolate and plenty of wood for the fire and the hot tub. The host was easy to contact and made us feel very welcome. Absolutely loved this beautiful hut…in spite of the rain and wind!

The cottage was beautiful and immaculately clean! It was cosy and had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The hot tub worked perfectly and it was lovely sitting out on a peaceful evening watching the stars and listening to the owls (and again the next morning!). Karen and Darren were the perfect hosts and really helpful... their recommendation of breakfast at the nearby farm shop was excellent! We'd definitely recommend the cottage and would love to come back in summer.
