The location was super! In a quiet area with enough place to park the car in front of the appartment. There is an easy access to the highway and a 24-hour shop and the city center is just a 10-15 minutes drive. The hosts of the appartment are really nice. Everything we needed was there: kitchen, a decent bathroom and enough space for the two of us. But the most breathtaking was the view on Aurora, The Northern Lights. Although you stay in the city it is possible to see the Northern Lights from the balcony. We even could see it sitting on the bed staring out of the bedroom window! How romantic!

Beautiful place with a stunning view of Reykjavik. A hot tub with thermal water feels amazing especially when the weather is cold. Huge comfy beds and lovely kitchen/ dining room/living room. Loved the sauna. The host was very kind and showed us around when we checked in. He was also available for any questions we had about the property. The place is huge and has lots of shelves and wardrobes to store your clothes and luggage. It's a short drive to the city centre and the grocery stores (around 10-15 minutes)

This hotel has it all! The staff were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to answer any questions about what to do and where to go. Need a taxi? They’ll have one ready for you in about a minute—so convenient! The restaurant was fantastic, offering delicious food. We had breakfast there daily, and it was the perfect way to start each day. Their coffee was excellent too—I loved it! This is also an ideal spot if you’re doing tours. Bus Stop 13 is right in front of the hotel, making it super convenient for tour bus pickups. On cold days, you can comfortably wait in the cozy lobby until your ride arrives—a small detail that makes a big difference. Our room was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

The hotel had a perfect location, in city center near most of the restaurants and bars. Bus stops from which the tourist trip buses are departing are pretty close, bus stop 9 is 3min apart. Room is spacious and very clean, the towels and bedsheets are changed every day. Breakfast is delicious, many options and fresh fruits. Food in that restaurant was one of the best in the city. We had sofa bed in the room and it was very comfortable for sleeping.

Loved the spa; very good sauna. Nice and relaxing atmosphere in the spa area. The spa has roomy dressing rooms, a relaxing area, two hot tubs and a sauna. The staff in the hotel is extremely nice and attentive. My room was nice, simple but nice. Bed was good and comfy. The coffee place on the first floor, Hygge, is nice and also the restaurant Héðinn, nice food and very good service. Both places with very good food.

Great location with plenty of food options nearby. Walking distance to the centre of town but on a beautiful shopping street and close to the bus stop to be picked up for tours. We also were able to park our car in the car park 2 mins walk away which was great to keep the car overnight. The spa (hot tub) area is a little small and outside but could be nice to relax if weather is good. Less appealing in the cold !
