Our stay at Rifugium was great. From the beautiful road letting up the mountain to the amazing views over the valley and the calm and peaceful premises. We stayed at a cottage called Fortino which was truly a refuge – all by ourselves with nature around the corner. The host Daniele was very friendly and helpful. We would 10/10 recommend to anyone that's seeking a get away off the beaten track.

Il Casello Country House was a stunning escape in the tuscan hills. The pool was gorgeous and a greta place to relax. It was a five minute walk from the bus stop and had two gorgeous vineyards near by, Vignamaggio and Casaloste - we would recommend both! The nearest town Panzano was not within walking distance but you could get the bus to it, most people had a car in the area but we managed just about without one. Full breakfast with barista coffee and freshly cooked eggs and bacon were included.

This is a tranquil location in the countryside yet not far away from restaurants and shops. The swimming pool provides a welcome break from the heat. The rooms are cooled by breeze from the forests - giving us a sound nights sleep . Christian was so helpful in explaining his vineyard and winery techniques, the passion and knowledge shone through . We would have said here longer if we could and we will be back.
