I had booked the Superior Sea-View room and it was just an fantastic experience! It had a great view from the balcony of the beautiful Amalfi coast--I enjoyed sunsets every evening. The breakfast was amazing, especially the fresh almond cake was delicious. Since the hotel is 20 minutes away from key touristic places of the Amalfi coast, (the train station being a few minutes away, I even did a day trip to Rome thanks to this location). I booked the Vespa and just toured around exploring Sorrento, Amalfi, Positano -- all at a great price! I could even enjoy their superb pool in May. I would recommend booking Hotel Mary if you want to explore the Amalfi coast. Vioc Equense is an charming town, and I loved every day of my stay here.

Excellent stay with great value for money! Host Gianluca was very nice, bed was the most comfortable we had in our 3 weeks in Italy, spacipus bedroom, and spa in the room was great! Ferries (to Capri) are 15 mins walk and youre basically on the train station, so great location. Worth knowing: the train is quite noisy, but trains dont run from 10:30pm until 6am, so wasn't a problem at all for us

Everything was exceptional. Both Antonella and Giuseppe are going above and beyond to make their guests happy. We were greeted with smiles and got a welcome drink and welcome snacks. We could enjoy it on the balcony with the absolutely stunning view that I will remember for the rest of my life. The breakfast was prefect every single morning. Great for both savory or sweet lovers. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary and were surprised by a delicious cake that we again enjoyed on the perfect balcony. The free shuttle to and from Sorrento was the best thing ever that helped us explore all around with no hassle and they were very accommodating with everything. The housekeeping was perfect, I am myself a housekeeping manager and I know the difficulties of the job, but the room was spectacularly clean and tidied up every single day. I just want to mention that these people at Romantic Relais are clearly on the right path in their lives and they make a difference in the service industry by showing how well guests can be received and pampered through the stay.
