The thermal spa facilities at the Hotel were exceptionally good. They were varied, open all day, very clean and well serviced by staff, both for towels, accessories and safety. All of the staff were very knowledgeable, helpful and provided us with the exact information we required to get the maximum benefit from the spa waters. The hotel staff were similarly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel drivers who undertook our transfers to and from Florence Airport to the hotel were particularly good: friendly, informative, polite and very safe drivers.

Podere Orto Wine Country House provides a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 29 km of Duomo Orvieto and 45 km of Mount Amiata.

Lovely country farmhouse style - spotlessly clean. Warm welcome and advice given by owner. Recommended a fabulous restaurant for dinner. The breakfast was exceptional.

Sarteano is a perfect base to explore Tuscany, the historic centre is picture perfect with several good local restaurants within walking distance. The palazzo is beautiful. We stayed here as a family of 4 in the green room. Everything was perfect, comfortable beds, good strong shower, clean. Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade croissants, cakes, biscuits, jam, eggs etc. Chiara, the owner is warm and friendly. We would love to visit again.

All of it comes so naturally to these consummate hosts. A ride to the train station, suggestion for a wine tour, a recommendation for a special restaurant made our stay a memorable experience. These are truly beautiful people who provide a memories not just a room for sleeping. Five star service! The historic guest house is as special as are the hosts. Every sleeping room, the lobby, sitting and breakfast rooms are appointed with wonderfully presented antiques. Bistro tables in the garden are an outdoor alternative for enjoying Donatella’s breakfast pastries prepared daily. A trained pastry chef her delights call for second helpings.
