Amazing place! So cosy with its minimalist design, wooden floor and wall panels. A very big outside jacuzzi, a brasero BBQ. The place is really comfortable and warm. The host was really kind, left us some Waygu beef in the freezer, water and iced coffee on the fridge and some fresh fruits. The place is walking distance from the train station, and nearby a supermarket. We really enjoyed every single minute we spent there!

The facilities are super awesome, with free laundry, free minibar (even with alcohol!) provided. Female & Male public bath did interchange each other for evening and morning session, so we can enjoy both facilities. They even have massage chairs in the public bath area for free. Sadly if there is chance to purchase milk/ yogurt after onsen, it will be perfect! The breakfast and dinner are nice too. Breakfast is semi-buffet with quite a lot of salad & drink provided. When we mentioned one of us has certain food allergy, the manager checked in details to ensure everything is alright.

Breakfast was very good. Their egg dishes and sausages were very good, and the morning coffee was above expectations. The spas were the convenient to use, and the outdoor spa was also satisfying. The second floor tea room is very charming and the furniture is very quaint in an old-European fashion. Make sure to use the shuttle bus that is available as it saves time. The timetable can be checked on the hotel’s website. Also, the staff are very warm and friendly, and are very helpful. I would like to stay at this hotel again if I were to visit Nikko in the future.
