It was my partner’s birthday and the weekend we spent at Rêves Étoilés was just fabulous. The starry sky, the comfy bed, the birds chirping in the morning, the delicious breakfast, the jacuzzi with heated water, the total privacy… I cannot think of anything that I would like to change or improve. If you want to stay in an ECO lodge close to nature stay here! We liked that it was very basic. The staff were fun and we felt like we had our own personal chef. The cabin had a large shower and mini fridge. Great quiet location and views, free canoe and paddle boarding. We loved the breakfast and BBQ dinner that included a bottle of local wine. Looking forward to a longer stay.

Although Caravan Park inspires a different idea in Australia as to what we were met with in Portugal, a little more research on our behalf could have prepared us better for our expectations to be met. This is primarily a residential caravan park more than camping/holiday. We were met by a lovely host Anabela who was more than happy to use Google Translate to walk us through the check-in process and receiving our security passes, as well as finding the bungalow nestled in between the many small streets of the park. The house itself was lovely, matched the pictures exactly and even included some basic kitchen items.
