A holiday we will not forget about! Thumbs up In the middle of the heat wave we escaped Croatia and found this... The booking.com advertisement of Luxury Residence Metlika and pictures tell it all about the accommodation....nothing to add, look-and-feel brand new. Everything to think about is there. Great communication with host about arrival and later in person awaited. We travelled by car and the central position of Metlika made that we were still able to visit Croatia when the temperature lowered. ....but we definitely will be back, because there is for us more to explore in Slovenia. By the way I can tell it felt really good after a long sightseeing walk at the Plitvice lakes in Croatia to return, have a shower and drift away in the spa We also feel brand new :-)

Very good location.. extrodinary friendly people/owner. Old landstyle/historic but very nice house. Central location for trips to river Kolpa, national park Lahinja(Natura 2000 area) and other locations in Bela Krajina/south east Slovenia. Possibility for breakfast or dinner, you have to try the wine.

Very peacefull environment. A great sundeck and jaccuzi. Also there was a nice welcome with beer and Belokrajinska pogača bread. The hosts were great with recommending sights to see and places to go swimming. The house is surounded by picturesque landscape, that just adds on the experience. Although we spent most of the time on the lower balcony, I can say that the interior of the house is decaretad very tastefully. Furthermore the kitchen has everything one may need to cook anything they might want. We really had a great time!
