The host Karn's family was just wonderful and super accommodating. They supplied our outings with car rides to the airport on many occasions, which also included the early morning on our last day. The hotel is located conveniently close to the grocery stores, eateries, bars, the beach and the airport. Its traditional and solidly constructed living units are surrounded by lush plants, providing comfort and privacy. Karn and his family made sure to offer drinking water and necessary room supplies daily to meet our needs. We enjoyed our 5 nights' stay at Ruen Thai Boutique and would consider returning here later this year. We highly recommend this place, running superbly by Karn's family.

Wayla Villa is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth and authenticity of our host, who genuinely cares for his guests. every single thing about our stay here was amazing. from the moment we arrived it was perfect. they had all the little details covered and we are now inspired and on a mission to stay at as many banyan trees around the world as we can. our room was magical, we decided we will design our next house similar with the pool right as you open the door you step out into it. we liked the fact that someone came and prepared our room for bed time. with a treat, mozzie trap, slippers by the bed and bed drawn back. such a sweet thing to do. our dinner was absolutely perfect. they let us pick which table we wanted during the day. it was my partners birthday and the waiter came with cake and sang happy birthday. he was so wonderful. the gym! wow wow wow. never seen a gym set up like this before. they even run sessions (trx, yoga ect). can’t recommend this place enough.

We stayed at Vic’s duplex for 2 weeks - 3 adults + 1 child - and we honestly loved it. The duplex is really big (much bigger than the photos make you think!) and it has all the real-life things that matter if you want to actually live like a human during a holiday: full kitchen setup, good coffee machine, plates, pans, fridge, everything. We cooked multiple times and never felt “limited”. Furniture and the duplex itself are in good solid condition - not brand new showroom shiny, but it feels clean, comfortable, taken-care-of, like someone cares enough to keep it nice. Beds were genuinely comfy. Showers were great. You also get full access to Angsana facilities: all the pools, beach beds, restaurants, kids club etc. Walking to the beach was like 5–7 minutes, super easy, and sometimes we took the lagoon shuttle (it’s actually fun). And most importantly - Ell, the property manager, is a GEM of a human. Kind, helpful, welcoming. She met us at arrival, explained things right away, helped us to organise bike rental, and even left complimentary snacks + fruit. That is the kind of hospitality that actually stays with you. Overall: we had a much better stay than we expected. It was smooth, comfortable, and honestly joyful. We would recommend it without hesitation - and we’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in Laguna. Thank you Vic and Ell!
