I love everything here. The hotel is fairly new. The lobby decoration is very pretty. Though the room is small but very cosy and clean. I enjoyed spending my time at the room balcony. The host has a beautiful bathroom (not attached to the room) with a jacuzzi tub that was most welcomed after four days of skiing in the Alps. The host does not speak any English so we were challenged to reactivate our high school French. She is so outgoing and patient in her communication that it was delightful to try to figure out what she was telling us and we never felt like we didn’t understand her recommendations, offerings, or expectations. Highly recommended!

Free WiFi access is provided in public areas. We stayed in the guard tower room, which is a bit different from most of the rooms in the hotel. It's right above the castle gate, with windows on 3 sides, but since the walls are 70cm thick and made of stone, it's very well insulated from noise. The conveniences/electrical system were slightly constrained by the fact that we were surrounded by thick stone, but they nonethless did a great job of making a beautiful, comfortable, and engagingly quirky room. Breakfast was also exceptional, with some of the best bread and pastry I've had in Switzerland.

One thing that stood out to me was their pet-friendly policy. I was able to bring my little dog along, and they not only welcomed him but also prepared a cozy bed and even provided food for him. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly valued as a guest. They even gave him a little present, which was incredibly sweet and heartwarming. The spa facilities were top-notch. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna, Hammam, and the highlight for me was the open-air bath. It was a unique and relaxing experience, allowing me to unwind while enjoying the breathtaking views.
