I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

The Beatus Wellness & SPA Hotel in Merligen - Interlaken is located right in a large park on the shore of Lake Thun. Beautiful location with great views of the lake. The food was amazing. Sauna and swimming pool were of very high standards. The staff really make an effort to help you enjoy the place. The bar had amazing cocktails and we really enjoyed the walks and boat trip organised by the hotel.

For car owners, the hotel has a large underground parking lot at a very reasonable cost of 12 francs for 24 hours, but you have to reserve the parking lot in advance. The hotel staff is very friendly and helped us a lot in planning our trip around the Thun and Brienz lakes. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and well equipped. The toilet and shower are separated, so two people can use them at the same time, which saves a lot of time. The breakfast is excellent and rich. The hotel has a heated pool and spa.

We love this place so much. Yes we have to drive up but the drive there was simply beautiful. This place has an amazing view and even more amazing host. Family Wicki provided us with some groceries when we urgently needed them cos we did not realize the stores would be closed early. They were always in touch with us, asking how we were and met us personally. I would highly recommend this place!
