The apartments had fully equipped kitchens and the hotel complex itself offered much in a cafe, pools, gym and bar. It was also great that there was plenty of spaces of free parking surrounding the complex. Although Abades is on a windier side of the island, this allowed for the wind to provide perfect ventilation for the rooms (we are no fans of air-conditioning), since the summer days are very warm. We highly recommend the place if you are planning to explore the island and have a rental car. If the beach nearby is too windy to enjoy, the beaches on the usually non-wind side of the island by Playa de las Americas are only 25 min drive from the hotel. It also helped that the airport was only a 15 minute drive hence when we had to leave for a morning flight back we could get there and return our rental car easily. The staff were the hotel’s best trait however. They were all extremely kind and helpful during our stay, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable.

Located in La Laguna and with the famous Leal Theatre within 600 metre. Great location with convenient parking, amazing breakfast and delicious dinner for very good price. The interior of the hotel is stylish with nice bar to hang in.

Room is spacious and comfortable. Quiet area with amazing sea view from the balcony. Food in restaurants are amazing. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Garden and pools are well-designed with greens and shades.

Το Hotel RIU Garoé έχει εξωτερική πισίνα, αίθουσα γυμναστικής, κήπο και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge, στον προορισμό Πουέρτο Ντε Λα Κρουζ. Everything was lovely! The location in Puerto de la Cruz was very beautiful and the facilities were great! There was a free parking nearing the hotel which was very handy because we had a rental. The staff of the hotel were the warmest people we have ever met! The food was delicious and very diverse! The pool area is excellent and the bar with the terrace as well! Every night they have live shows, which were an excellent plus! The rooms were very clean and we really felt like we were taken care of! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed on!

Very spacious room and lounge with kitchen area, nice bathroom. Staff was lovely, swimming pool with view and farm location which was nice and different. Quiet and away from the typical touristy areas. The breakfast and the patisseries / pastels were a true delight!
