The home is very beautiful and the hosts were the best! They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, while also giving us our privacy. We had a lovely room on the third floor with a gorgeous view of the river and a very comfortable bed. We awoke to a delicious breakfast of fresh chocolate croissants, bread and apple juice all purchased by the host before we woke up. We also had delicious honey harvested by their neighbor as well as several homemade jams.They live in a darling small town with several restaurants and a gorgeous church. It was all PERFECT!!! I forgot to add that there is a beautiful rooftop jacuzzi!!!

Now if I do this little bit of paradise found justice in the review, you will either not believe me, or FAR more importantly I will never get to stay again because it will be fully booked! One winds through an ever narrower lane, not entirely sure of where it leads until the final corner when Domaine du Val Savage is revealed in all its natural beauty. Down a long private driveway, the first thing to observe is the wood fired hot tub on the left. Once you’ve passed this the house then reveals itself. With the swimming pool in front of it and Truffeau stone cliff, complete with caves to the right. All surrounded by forest and birdsong. The greeting from both Vincent and Caroline was very warm indeed. We were shown to our room by Caroline via the separate entrance through the woods. Travelling light is a bonus at this point ;-) The rooms are simply beautiful. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. This stay is a woodland oasis of calm. Should you not want to leave then evening meals etc are also available. We sampled three of these and all were delicious. We have visited the Loire many times now and this is head and shoulders above anywhere else we have stayed, and we’ve been very lucky previously.

Moody wood is een lodge met veel privacy. Keurig schoon, alles voorzien. Ben best op veel plaatsen geweest, maar het niveau waarop hier aan gasten wordt gedacht is hoog.

The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, welcoming and with all modern touches, while respecting the overall aesthetic. Christophe is a great host, passionate about the beautiful Villa and knowledgeable and able to provide lots of recommendation. Breakfast is amazing, with French pastries, homemade confiture, etc.

This property was totally fantastic! The property is spotless - we had a superb room - that had been furnished in the most tasteful manner . Everything was such excellent quality with a very very comfortable bed . We had lovely doors that opened out onto the garden . A little table and chairs were provided and nicely screened from next property with plants . We sat out twice with wine and a picnic in the evening . Our hostess has designed a super kitchen where you met with other guests in the morning . A very generous breakfast was provided that stopped us eating until the evening ! We sat with French and Danish guests this morning and did not want to leave . The swimming pool was spotless with very comfortable sun beds . I can’t say there was anything missing or not good at all . The only problem we now have is, can any other properties be as good as we travel through France . Sorry such a long essay !!
