Convenient and beautiful location perfect for stopping on our way back from Spain. We received a very warm welcome from our hosts. As did our 2 dogs :-) Our room was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. We were able to walk our dogs straight from the door, round lovely streets and semi rural tracks with views of the mountains. There was a communal area where we could make tea and coffee and there was a fridge and microwave. We were invited to eat our own food there if we wished. Our room was dark and quiet at night, perfect for a good night's sleep. The hosts went to extra trouble to provide a vegan breakfast for us which we really appreciated.

Amazing location, warm welcome, excellent facilities - bed, bathroom, outdoor pool, breakfast was lovely. So relaxing. We had our evening meal in the restaurant in the village a mile away - great meals. Swimming in the pool surrounded by wood covered hills in the silence of the morning has been one of the highlights of this holiday. Fantastic find on Booking.com

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, Ferme Elhorga is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, 10 km from Saint Jean de Luz Train Station. Featuring a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, the 4-star bed and breakfast has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free bikes, meeting and banquet facilities, massage services, sun terrace, hot tub, spa facilities and water park are at our guests' disposal. The hosts were welcoming and charming. Every possible amenity and more were available. The reconstruction of an old building was stunning with a wonderful mix of old and new. An added bonus was a small kitchen and laundry facility available for guests to use. The property was secluded and quiet. This was perfect for me to relax after an arduous workshop nearby. I hope to return frequently!

The Villa L’Arche is located in Bidart, just 50 metres from the beach and 6 km from St Jean de Luz and Biarritz. It offers an infinity pool, a hot tub and sea views.

Each room at L’arche is equipped with a private bathroom and a TV. A daily breakfast is served daily to each guest room. The view from our room and the rest of the hotel was truly breathtaking. And the hotel was more like a private resort. Beautiful furnishings, big room, great balcony, fantastic bathroom with a shower and seperate huge bath. And seperate toilet room. A fridge and coffee machine were provided. And we opted for breakfast in our room which had lovely espresso coffee, fresh pastries, bread, fruit, yoghurt & juice. There is also a heated infinity style pool and hot tub but the weather was a bit cool to use. Some kids were brave though! We would love to return here, it was a gorgeous, quiet retreat with friendly, wonderful staff.

Free WiFi access is also available. Fantastic Michelin star food ( although didn’t have a star when we went but deserves one). Great, friendly professional staff
