Superb! First time at a Como hotel, and am bowled over. The staff are exemplary, and they are what makes this such a wonderful hotel. It is because of Arjun in particular, that I will now try to stay at a Como wherever I go. Arjun has really made this the perfect five star experience for us, from the moment of welcome. Our standard room was of classic 5-star hotel standards and very spacious, with a huge shower, spacious bathroom, and had everything that every good 5 star provides with very good quality bedroom slippers, bathrobes and vanity kit. Mini bar was very well-stocked: half bottle of Taittinger champagne, Chablis, beers and liquors, and good quality tea, coffee. Housekeeping staff are all fantastic, and very fast in delivering any items requested. Breakfast was the BEST I’ve ever had in London!!! Served in natural daylight from a translucent pyramid ceiling, which is a beautiful way to wake up. Many clean, lean and healthy menu options which are perfect for alkaline, vegan, vegetarian, or calorie-controlled diets, or for those into health and wellness. The staff are absolutely fantastic at breakfast, warm, polite, friendly, professional. Nothing was too much trouble. My full English breakfast with a side of avocado was perfect, with extremely good quality ingredients. We were served a complimentary shot of “blood building” juice to start, which was delicious. I ordered my own concoction of celery, cucumber, lettuce and lemon, which was also delicious because of the quality of the ingredients. The peppermint tea is also very high quality. So happy with my stay! And can’t wait to be back!
