This is a campsite, so I'm giving my review by comparing it to other similar places. It would be unfair to compare a farm to a hotel. That said, my stay was great! The house was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet is outside the building, but it's private because it belongs to that unit only. The showers are shared, which wasn't a problem at all — the bathroom is spacious and very comfortable. It's excellent for kids — my son was delighted!

Just returned from the most relaxing weekend spent at Pheasant Lane. When I say this place is a hidden gem, it really is. Geraldine was so lovely and showed us around the facilities. We loved the hot tub and the sauna at night. The fresh bread, milk, eggs and butter was fab. Special mention to how comfy the beds were! We all slept amazingly. I will be recommending Pheasant Lane to everyone I know - I already can’t wait to come back 😊

Surrounded by magnificent parkland and nestled on the shores of Lough Ennell, Bloomfield House Hotel, Leisure Club & Spa form a perfect country escape. Room was exceptional for the price. Breakfast great. Dinner good.

Nestled in Monksland, a residential suburb of Athlone town, The Athlone Springs Hotel is less than a 6-minute drive from Athlone town centre. Lovely clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Had dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was excellent, as was the breakfast each morning.

Contemporary 4-star Mullingar Park Hotel offers a restaurant, leisure club and stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi. Beautiful hotel..Lovely room and great food..Attentive staff..

Το Hardwood Hall or Kiltubber House είναι σε Kinnegad, σε απόσταση 20 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Mullingar Arts Centre και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και... Gerard, the owner, is a very kind and likable gentleman, easy to talk to. In fact I appreciated the fact that he was present for example to greet me at arrival - compared to other places that leave you the key in a locker… The house has a special charm. The building as well as the furniture is not modern but seemingly all from the same era and l loved it. Look at the photos and you know what I’m talking about. Also, I especially loved the long driveway up to the house with trees and the lawn left and right and not to forget the rabbits that seem to quite like it there. Hope lovely is that?! My bed was comfortable - for me that’s always the most important… Would I stay there again? Definitely!
