But we arrived after midnight because of the late flight and left the apartment in the morning, so, we didn't have really time to get a proper impression :)

Other facilities at Comfort and Rest include a hot tub. A perfect place for a family of four. Loved the location close to the airport as we were flying out early in the morning. Good parking space, nice hot spa on the terrace. A very nice host greeting us when we arrived. Lovely location close to the ocean.

Check-in was easy as well as the communication with the hosts. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed, was close to the ocean and had an awesome hot tub. Would have liked to stay even longer!

The family-run Guesthouse 1x6 is in the old part of Keflavík, a 7-minute drive from Keflavik International Airport and a 20-minute drive from the Blue Lagoon geothermal spa. It offers free WiFi and its own geothermal hot pool.

The garden's relaxing thermal bath is made from washed-up ocean stones. A delicious home made breakfast that was healthy and tasty. Included a slice of rhubarb pie that is a family recipe from Andi’s mom back in Sweden. They offered slippers to wear around indoors, and sandals to wear outdoors. So much chilled water available in a small fridge. A very clean bathroom and shower with nice amenities. All of that was great, but having pleasant hosts was much needed, unexpected and a delight.

It was right next to a viking museum that I was looking forward to seeing beautiful views of the northern lights just amazing.

Loved the location for us as we were trekking around the area! We did some Reykjavík, Golden Circle, and Blue Lagoon. Love the quiet community near the ocean with a perfect view to the north for lights!
