Ligging is perfect aan de boulevard / haven aan de ene zijde en het dorpscentrum aan de andere. We zaten in de appartementen met een mooi stukje eigen terras tuin. Werkelijk Super!

Everything was great. Valentina is an extraordinary host. She is very attentive and welcoming. She made us feel we were at home. Beautiful human being. Her father is also very kind. As a seasoned traveler, I can confidently say that B&B Follonica exceeded my expectations. It’s a modest, newly renovated, and cozy place, with great attention to detail – from cleanliness to genuinely warm and helpful staff. Special thanks to Giacomo, the manager/owner who was incredibly helpful from the start. He clearly explained everything and remained available throughout our stay – offering advice, directions, and excellent restaurant recommendations. We opted for covered, gated parking on-site, which was €15 per day. There is also street parking nearby, which is slightly cheaper, but we preferred the secure, in-property option behind the gate – much more convenient and worry-free. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well equipped – with a fridge, safe, and a beautiful, large bathroom. They felt bright, comfortable, and inviting. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with scrambled eggs or omelets made to order. Breakfast is served in the hotel’s open garden, which adds a fresh and relaxed touch to the mornings – a truly pleasant experience. The private wellness and sauna (available for €30/hour) was a welcome bonus and a great way to unwind. The location is ideal – close to both the beach and city center, as well as to great local restaurants. Giacomo is happy to recommend places based on your preferences. Also worth mentioning is the 24-hour self-serve bar, where you can refill still or sparkling water into reusable bottles – a thoughtful and eco-friendly feature that reflects the hotel’s sustainable mindset. Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay at B&B Follonica and wholeheartedly recommend it.

After having an awful experience at another place in Piombino, we had to leave immediately and find somewhere to stay last minute in high season and we’re so grateful we found this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. They even upgraded our room, which was such a thoughtful gesture and exactly what we needed after a very very stressful day. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — a true breath of fresh air. The whole hotel had a calm, well-kept atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Everyone we interacted with was kind and efficient, and even though we could only stay one night (as they were fully booked after), we would have happily stayed longer. Also worth mentioning — the prices for poolside snacks and drinks were fair and reasonable, which is refreshing to see at a hotel, especially after such a last-minute booking. The property was filled with trees and flowers that smelled so good. This stay turned our day around and reminded us what good hospitality looks like. Highly recommend!

Podere Maremma Spa & Ristorante bevindt zich in Orbetello, op 19 km van Monte Argentario en 25 km van Regionaal Park Maremma. The staff were extremely lovely and accommodating. We travelled with our 1yo son and everything was prepared for him in the room. We loved the breakfast set up - it’s served in a beautiful winter garden next to their orchard. The restaurant is nice and convenient, both for couples and families.
