The hotel room is extremely clean and nice. The hotel management were very helpful in transport to and from the ferry and helping us with the buses. It is a good boutique hotel.

Incredibly friendly staff and family-run business. We received a very warm welcome - being picked up by the hotel. The check-in was very thorough and we were told how to navigate the island - even being given bus tickets for free. It’s located on the hillside which makes for amazing views when taking a dip in the pool. The hotel also had a sauna and jacuzzi, and offered a lot of cozy places for sitting down, having a drink/coffee and was very accessible from two roads. I could not recommend this place enough! Hidden gem!

O’Vagnitiello, where do I start? If you’re thinking about booking this hotel, do yourself a favour and book it! My husband and I have travelled many places across the world and hands down this was our favourite resort we’ve stayed in. We stayed in May so the prices were reasonable and the weather was perfect for suntanning, swimming, and enjoying the thermal pools. When we arrived we were in aweh at how beautiful the property was. It is all ocean front up the cliff side which makes for easy access to the water and for stunning views. We payed for the room with the sea view/balcony and we are so glad we did. The breakfast was included delicious, they were kind enough to make us scrambled eggs as well. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind, we felt very cared for. The room was beautiful, clean, specious, and the bed/pillows were comfortable! Their restaurant food was very delicious, we ate there some nights and other nights we rented a scooter from the resort and explored the island or we walked up the hill into town. It’s not a long walk but some good hill walking to get used to. There is a really nice simple gym on the facility with a beautiful view as well. Staying at O’Vagnitiello felt very luxurious, having direct access to the thermal pools all day was so relaxing and conveniently steps from all the rooms. There were plenty of pools with different temperatures to choose from. The sauna, cold showers, ocean, paddle boards, and lounge chairs were also all there to add the the perfect experience. We are looking forward to visiting again one day!

Everything was lovely; the hosts, the room, the area, the pool, everything. We were so, so welcomed and they arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the ferry upon arrival. We wanted to rent a scooter one day and Gianna helped with that as well, having the scooter delivered to the hotel! Much appreciated. Villa Caruso was very well taken care of, and you can really tell that they really want the guests to be happy.

Everything about this property and our stay in Forio was amazing! Marta was so friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.. Great restaurant recommendations, provided us with a beach umbrella, bus info, simple breakfast provisions for our first morning as we arrived late evening the day before, helped organize a taxi to the port on our last day and generally being very responsive on whatsapp when things arose. Our apartment had a spacious patio and view of the ocean...so peaceful, the sunset was beautiful. Exceptionally clean and well equipped, we made several meals here and enjoyed the pool, loungers, sauna and the terrace. Cleaning service was provided halfway through our stay, extra towels etc..strong air conditioning and laundry facilities were great. A 10 minute walk down a short cut to Citara beach, we did this daily. The bus stop at the end of the street was very convenient for getting around the island. Marta was also very kind to my children, 9 and 11-year-old boys, which is always appreciated. We spent a week here, the end of a long trip around Italy, and it really was the best way to finish our vacation.

If you want to stay in a nice place with stunning view and cosy swimming pool, Villa Araucaria is the best choice. Everywhere is clean and there is also a huge terrace. Lucia is a great host, she can offer you fruits and wine during the day and great breakfast in the morning. Carlo speaks fluently English, he knows everything about the island and he advice you very well. And he also explain you where the apartment is, because it is not so easy to find it. HIGHLY recommend Residence Villa Cristina if you plan a vacation on Ischia! Each guest has a private apartment and bathroom with a small kitchenette. The residence is in a private, tropical botanical garden with a beautiful swimming pool. Breakfasts (and other meals) are in a beautiful open air covered patio overlooking the swimming pool and palm trees. Recommend the mezza pensione/half board in which dinner is included. The dinners include several antipasti/appetizers, a primo/pasta, a secondo/meat which was usually fresh local fish, dessert, and wine made by the owners. Very good value for the money and everything was freshly made at the moment! A bonus: the best beach on Ischia, San Francesco, is an easy 10-minute walk from the residence. Will definitely return! The staff is like family!

Offering an indoor pool, Hotel Casa Nicola is located in Succhivo 1 km from Sant'Angelo on the island of Ischia, a 5-minute walk from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Room was excellent; excellent mattress; ample shelving and drawers; perfect climate control with heat pump; just right bathroom with good shelving. Breakfast was more than ample; hostess/owner was personable, gracious and helpful. Hot pool/Roman bath was an unexpected treat. Perfectly located 30 feet from a bus stop and easily walkable to Sant’Angelo.
