The pool has a lovely view. The various places to eat are splendid. It is a quiet, relaxing and rejuvenating experience to stay there. It’s location is off the beaten track, yet just 1/2 from the train station, where they picked us up. As an American, I loved every charming detail— all very reasonably priced for an absolutely splendid experience! I would give it 20 stars or more!

Offering an outdoor pool and views of the garden, Tenuta "Il Cigno" is situated in Villanterio in the Lombardy Region, 29 km from Milan. Free private parking is available on site. This property is a working ranch with farm animals but the main focus is raising and training horses. The warm and friendly host, Stefani, explained all about the farm/ranch and even took us to meet Varenne, italy’s most famous champion harness racer who is now retired from racing and lives on the property. The apartment was very comfortable with two bedrooms upstairs and a full kitchenette and great room downstairs. It was very clean and well maintained. The breakfasts were AMAZING!! Complete with fresh eggs from the ranch hens and Stefano’s fabulous home baked Cantucci!! Forget about your diets while staying here! I also had the opportunity to go for a ride with Rebecca and that was one of the highlights of my stay.

The apartment was immaculately clean. It had a beautiful bathroom and well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the location was excellent. The owners went above and beyond to make us happy.

The owner was very nice, helpful, and friendly. Everything was clean, and she served us an Italian breakfast in the morning. Please note, this is a room in the house where the family lives. This means no privacy. You are with the whole family in the same rooms like the kitchen and lounge. The peaceful quiet area and the air conditioning in the room were extremely pleasant.

We were on the Via Francigena on bicycles. Anna & Carlo were very welcoming and warm. The apartment we stayed in was absolutely wonderful with a fantastic balcony. They were incredibly helpful.
