The food experience, especially the breakfast menu is quite exquisite but comes at the price (40usd p.p.) We enjoyed the place very much.

This is our second stay at Emion Kyoto, and like the last time it was perfect. - Location: located only 1 station from the central Kyoto Station, which made our travel very convenient. Walkway with roof directly connects to the train station. Quiet neighborhood. - There are several restaurants in the building. We tried 3 of them and all are very good. - 7Eleven next to building. - Neighborhood coin laundry 7 minute walk away. - Decent sized room, very clean. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom with bathtub. - Breakfast is really good. There were a lot of choices and great quality. We enjoyed the breakfast very much! - The staffs were very friendly and helpful, always with smiles.

Our room was perfectly clean and very comfortable, perfect for a few nights in Kyoto. The hotel was very beautiful, in traditional style and provided nice services like a bath that you can reserve, a common area with tea offered, and a nice breakfast area. In addition, the hotel organizes various activities of which we tried the Sake brewery tour which was a great experience!

The hotel features a hot tub, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Excellent location, so close to all the tourist spots, restaurants and convenience stores. Hotel room seems to be recently renovated. Incredibly spacious bathroom and bathtub. Big TV (even comes with a soundbar). Lightings are very relaxing. Bed is big and comfortable. They give you extra clean towels every day of your stay.

Units are complete with a private bathroom, while certain units at the ryokan also provide guests with a seating area. The hotel is so beautiful and peaceful you almost don't want to leave. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We had the shabu shabu dinner and 2 Japanese style breakfasts which were cooked right in front of us by the lovely staff who we really enjoyed talking to. The location was only a 10 minute walk from Kyoto station but in a relatively quiet location, which was very much appreciated after the busy tourist spots of Kyoto. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be returning if we are ever in Kyoto again.

This 4-star ryokan offers a lift and free shuttle service. There is a restaurant serving Japanese cuisine, and free private parking is available. The staff were wonderful - we had to reorganize our check-in time several times, and they were really nice and helpful. They even helped us send our luggage straight to Tokyo and were very attentive about a gluten allergy one of us has. The food was a solid 10 out of 10. We had an outstanding dinner and a traditional Japanese breakfast with all the small, beautifully presented dishes.
