We came to dive in this beautifulk place.It is an exceptional hotel with an extraordinary staff They waited for us athough we we landed late in Tokyo. Though we were lucky to enjoy the shef's breakfast only, it was an exceptional experience! The rooms are spacial, the springs in the place are well organized, just the deepest recommendations from our side. Good places to eat outside, and even without a transfer a good place to to render about, nice views and close to the craters of the voulcanes and to the zoo that is a dream of every child!

The location was perfect for getting away from the busy streets of Tokyo, though I highly recommend renting a (small!) car to get here, as it is tucked away from public trsnsportation routes. Our room was clean, surprisingly well equipped and comfortable. Service was spot on, communication with our host was easy and quick. We never saw any of the staff though, which made the quality of service just that much more impressive. We were the only guests staying here at the time, so we had all facilities to ourselves (an introvert's dream). There were plenty of instructions in english for all the general how-tos, check-in and check-out was easy using the machine. Prepare to face some bugs around the area, we had a few interesting encounters with moths by the entrance. The room itself was equipped with bugspray and deterrents, though we didn't need them as our room was perfectly wildlife free. The bug screen in the private onsen kept the bugs at bay, allowing us to bathe and sleep while enjoying the sounds and smells of the surrounding nature!

I enjoyed the variety of Onsen. The food was delicious. Staff were so nice too.

The owners were super friendly and helpful. The private onsens were so nice after a long day of walking and hiking. The free breakfast was such a nice touch and so yummy! Softest sandwich bread ever! The eating area was very cozy, I spent some time working there in the morning and it was so peaceful. I came during a rainy time but I imagine during the summer it's very popular for surfers. I am from hawaii and the hotel had lots of Hawaii art which was very sweet to see. We hope to be back someday :)
