The nature surrounding the lodge was absolutely wonderful and fascinating.

Featuring mountain views, North Experience Basecamp in Melen features accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a terrace and a restaurant. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. We stayed one night in the glass igloo, and even though the weather wasn't great, we had a great time. The igloo was small, as expected, but very warm and modern. The person who greeted us was very friendly and helpful.

The accommodation features full-day security and luggage storage space for guests. I don’t know from where to start for how perfect everything was! From the facilities to the kind staff that made you feel like you were at home ! The rooms were cozy and i really liked how there was a kitchen and you were able to prepare your own food if you didn’t feel like eating outside! I chose reine to rest after a long trip full of hikes and catogarden gave me the rest i needed before going back to work and everyday life 😅 Also if you stay there make sure you do the kayaking tour! that was so much fun and I’m extremely grateful to the guide for making me feel safe to do it since i’ve never done any water sports haha! I hope i can visit again soon! Thank you so much for everything ❤️ *Also i was able to see the northern lights not once but twice from the hotel and that was such a blessing!
